Le Refuge restaurant has reopened in Saint-Brieuc at the end of autumn 2018.
Very attached to Brittany, where he has family ties, Nicolas Roicomte has taken over, bringing with his experience in cooking, in Monaco and Burgundy.
He wanted to run a traditional kitchen establishment, where he carried out modernizing and upgrading work.
The restaurant has taken off and now offers a fresh buffet and a priced menu.
He has created an inventive and flavorsome cuisine reflecting the different regions of France. There is a varied and hearty buffet and tasty homemade desserts. For amateurs, there is an interesting wine cellar.
The restaurant has two rooms with a total capacity of 70 seats which can be used for banquets or business meals. In summer, there is a terrace available at the back of the restaurant.
The welcome is smiling and warm.
Unfortunately, since the former clientele did not came in sufficient numbers to ensure the profitability, le Refuge was closed permanently on April 13, 2019.
A full menu is offered at € 12.90, cheese, drink and coffee included, with homemade dishes. Other formulas are possible: dish of the day only, dessert alone, etc.
The Refuge is open Monday to Friday, from 11:30 am to 2 pm, or by reservation at 37 Paul-Bert Street. Phone 02 96 68 38 28 - email: restaurant.le-refuge@orange.fr
